  • Toyota CEO, Jim Lentz, stated this week that they are expecting a February 2017 completion for the new 5-story Toyota Headquarters that will be located in Plano, Texas, just North of Legacy Drive. Current employees will begin relocating to North Texas by that April.

Although an expected 3,000 current employees- about 75% – will be relocating to Texas from the current headquarters located in Torrance, California, and other states, Lentz plans to have around 1,000 new jobs that will likely be filled by North Texas residents.

Since the original plans, Toyota has expanded its tech and research center. They will have underground corridors that will be used for both emergency and non-emergency purposes and large enough to house all of Toyota employees.  The estimated $350 million cost,  as expected, has increased, and Lentz plans to have those final estimates within the next 90 days.

The housing inventory has already been low which has led to an increase in housing prices, and as the Toyota employees receive their relocation packages, this type of pattern can be expected to continue.

If you are looking to relocate to North Texas, or you’d like to know what your home could sell for in this historical “Sellers’ Market,” please feel free to contact us.

  • Jerry Jones continues to prove that being owner of the Dallas Cowboys is not the only league he plays in.  Jones and his real estate company, Blue Star Land, have just finished the community of Star Creek in Allen, and they are now ready to kick off on their first phase of 400 residential lots in Star Trails.

    Star Trails in Prosper

The Prosper community will be located on the northwest corner of Prosper Trail and the Dallas North Tollway, just North of the ever-growing town of Frisco.

With the relocation of Liberty Mutual, FedEx, Toyota and the many telecom companies flooding the 121 Corridor, the demand for shopping, dining and new home construction is growing daily with areas to the North.

This new community of 1000 aces will be a mix of retail, restaurants, and residential.  The location is prime for those commuting to Frisco, Plano, McKinney, Allen and even Dallas.

There is no need to worry about “living in the sticks” because Jones is currently developing and building the 300,000+ square foot shopping center known as the Gates of Prosper.

  • Stonebridge Ranch is in a world of it’s own. As soon as you make that turn into Stonebridge, there is a charming, inviting, very “homey” feeling. As you cruise along, you’ll notice the elegantly manicured landscaping, rolling hills and during the summer months, the blooms of the gorgeous Crape Myrtle trees that are sprawled across the 5,000 acres of Stonebridge.

Stonebridge Ranch has it all, whether you want to take a dive into one of Stonebridge’s community pools, head out to one of the lakes for some fishing and paddle-boating, or tee off at one of Stonebridge’s premier golf courses, you will always have something to do.

The “crown jewel” of Stonebridge Ranch is Adriatica Village, which truly sets Stonebridge apart and makes it completely unique to North Texas. Adriatica Village, in the heart of Stonebridge Ranch, includes shops, restaurants, apartment and condo living and even single-family homes. Adriatica exudes old-world charm and tranquility; boasting cobblestone streets, stone buildings and architecture that models a Croatian village. Pictures do not do it justice, Adriatica Village is definitely part of Stonebridge that you have to see for yourself.

Aside from being located in McKinney, which was voted the #1 Best Place to Live in America by Money Magazine, Stonebridge stands alone as the premier community in North Texas.

So what makes Stonebridge Ranch so great? There isn’t anything else like it.
